Tim Tebow Wins "Academic Heisman"

Tim Tebow won the Campbell Trophy -- widely regarded as the "Academic Heisman" -- last night, presented by the National Football Foundation. (Check out this New York Times piece covering the event, complete with the photo below. It's Tebow-as-Sinatra.)


You can joke about Tebow's course schedule this semester -- one class, consisting of one hour per week -- but no top-end college football player has earned as much distinction for academics as Tebow -- a three-time Academic All-American, including two-time Academic A-A P.O.Y.
