For today's game against Alabama, Tim Tebow is wearing eye-black featuring the passage John 16:33, which reads:
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Every week, it is an open question whether Tebow is using the eye-black to have some sort of secular double-meaning -- that certainly seemed to be the case last week.
The phrase I put in bold seems to have that double-meaning: This game will be a struggle. And one of two outcomes will happen: Either Tebow and Florida will "overcome" Alabama, or they won't... but keep the game's result in life's larger perspective.

Tebow is an asshole...he can go fuck himself with his bible. He stayed in college because he knows he's not a pro player. Good riddance Tebow and the Florida 'dynasty.' See you in hell mother fucker.

digital01, I wish that were the case, unfortunately it isn't. I would take a guess at who the haters are fans of, but to be honest everybody hates on whoever is on top so it really could be anybody from a jealous Texas fan to a USC fan to a bitter Oklahoma fan to an FSU fan etc.
