Yesterday, Tim Tebow gave a speech at Union University in Tennessee, where he hit on his three core themes to having a significant life:
*Be willing to "stand alone" for what you believe in and be different from everyone else.
*Stay humble (having a "servant's heart").
*Finish strong.
Tebow, obviously, has a particular faith-driven lens he looks through all of these things through, but I have long argued that all three ideas have wide secular application.

I'm going through these archives working my way up to the present, and finding this post and many of the other draft-preparation posts to be quite relevant two years later, as the Broncos might trade Tebow and once again people are discounting him because he's not like other quarterbacks...
ReplyDeleteI hope Tebow right now is determining to stay humble and finish strong. :)
