Against Vanderbilt, Tim Tebow is wearing "Col 3:23" on his eye-black. That would be Colossians 3:23, which reads, according to the New King James version:
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.
I like it: Basically, it says to put yourself into your work -- whatever that work might be -- with a sincerity worthy of the moment, respecting the value of the work for its own sake.
Your motivation might be to a higher power, rather than to your fellow people -- or maybe you consider that higher power to be the collective of humanity.
It really doesn't matter -- your personal perspective matters, obviously, but that perspective might differ between people.
What matters is the earnestness and wholeheartedness with which you put your effort into anything.

What I take from the verse is, do you work to please others or the Lord? Not necessarily to just work hard for work's sake.
